Legally Blonde is a 2001 comedy film which starred Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, it is based on the 2001 novel by Amanda Brown. After an unexpected breakup with her long time boyfriend claiming that her frivolous life will hamper his prospective political future. However when she arrives at Harvard (the same school that her former boyfriend is attending) she finds that he is already engaged to a fellow law student. Not only that but she is met with prejudice and skepticisms everywhere she goes. The movie goes on to follow her rise in academics at Harvard with a few trials, heartbreaks and friendships along the way.
